શ્લો|| સવીક્ષમાણ સ્તત્રસ્થો માર્ગમાણશ્ચ મૈથિલીમ્|
અવેક્ષમાણશ્ચ મહીં સર્વાં તામન્વવેક્ષત||1||

સ||તત્રસ્થઃ વીક્ષમાણઃ મૈથિલીં માર્ગમાણઃ અવેક્ષમાણઃચ સઃ હનુમાન્ તાં સર્વાં મહીં અવેક્ષત||

Looking out from there, Hanuman who was searching for Mythili surveyed all around that place.

Hanuman saw that well decorated Ashoka grove having splendid trees all around with creepers enriched with fine fragrance.

સ|| તાં નંદન સંકાશં પાદપૈઃ ઉપશોભિતમ્ મૃગપક્ષિભિઃ આવૃતં કોકિલાકુલનિઃશ્વનામ્ હર્મ્યપ્રાસાદ સંભાદાં (તાં વનિકાં દદર્શ) || (અશોક વનિકા) કાંચનોત્પલપદ્માભિઃ વાપીભિઃ ઉપશોભિતાં બહ્વાસનકુથોપેતાં બહુભૂમિ ગૃહાયુતમ્ (અસ્તિ) || (તત્ અશોકવનિકા) સર્વર્તુકુસુમૈઃ ફલવદ્ભિઃ પુષ્પિતાનાં અશોકાનાં પાદપૈઃ રમ્યાં, સૂર્યોદય પ્રભાં ઇવ પ્રદીપ્તં (વનિકામ્) તત્રસ્થઃ મારુતિઃ સમુદૈક્ષત ||

Resembling the Nandana grove of Indra, (it is) enchanting with variety of trees, filled with animals and birds , filled with sounds of cuckoos , and tall mansions. Tanks with seating places having rich coverings, with many underground homes, have golden lilies and lotuses. It is with trees full of blossoms of all seasons. It is with trees full of fruits. It is delightful with blossoms of Ashoka trees. That grove thus glowing with the splendor of the rising Sun, was seen by Hanuman sitting on that tree.

સ|| અસકૃત્ વિનિષ્પતદ્ભિઃ શતશઃ વિહગૈઃ નિષ્પત્રશાખાં ક્રિયમાણાં ઇવ ચિત્રૈઃ પુષ્પાવતંસકૈઃ અમૂલપુષ્પનિચિતૈઃ શોકનાશનૈઃ અશોકૈઃ (અસ્તિ) ||

With branches having no leaves because of often falling flowers and hundreds of birds, it was like a painted picture. The Ashoka trees which can remove the grief , were full of flowers, with blossoms up to the base of the trees.

શ્લો|| પુષ્પભારાતિભારૈશ્ચ સ્પૃશદ્ભિરિવ મેદિનીં|
કર્ણિકારૈઃ કુશુમિતૈઃ કિંશુકૈશ્ચ સુપુષ્પિતૈઃ||8||
સ દેશઃ પ્રભયા તેષાં પ્રદીપ્ત ઇવ પર્વતઃ|
પુન્નગા સપ્તવર્ણાશ્ચ ચમ્પકોદ્દાલકાસ્તથા||9||
વિવૃદ્ધમૂલા બહવઃ શોભન્તે સ્મ સુપુષ્પિતાઃ|

સ|| પુષ્પભારાતિભારૈશ્ચમેદિનીં સ્પૃશદ્ભિઃ ઇવ કુશુમિતૈઃ કર્ણિકારૈઃ કિંશુકૈશ્ચ સુપુષ્પિતૈઃ (તાં વનિકાં મારુતિઃ દદર્શ)||તેષાં પ્રભયા સઃ દેશઃ સર્વતઃ પ્રદીપ્ત ઇવ| વિવૃદ્ધમાલાઃ સુપુષ્પિતાઃ પુન્નગાઃ સપ્તપર્ણસ્ચ તથા ચંપકાઃ ઉદ્દાલકાઃ શોભન્તે સ્મ||

Loaded with heavy flowers, the trees were as if touching the ground. The grove was full with blossoms, fully bloomed Karnikara flowers and Kimsukas. With their radiance all of that place was aflame with blooming Pannagas Saptaparnas, Champakas and Uddalakas.

There were thousands of Ashoka trees some of which shone like gold, some of which looked like flames of fire, some of which are like black collyrium.

અતિવૃત્ત મિવાચિન્ત્યં દિવ્યં રમ્યં શ્રિયા વૃતં|
દ્વિતીય મિવ ચાકાશં પુષ્પજ્યોતિ ર્ગણાયુતમ્ ||12||
પુષ્પરત્નશતૈ શ્ચિત્રં પઞ્ચમં સાગરં યથા |
સર્વર્તુપુષ્પૈર્નિચિતં પાદપૈર્મધુગન્દિભિઃ||13||
નાનાનિનાદૈરુદ્યાનં રમ્યં મૃગગણૈર્દ્વિજૈઃ|
અનેક ગન્ધપ્રવહં પુણ્યગન્ધં મનોરમમ્||14||

સ|| નંદનં યથા વિવિધ ઉદ્યાનમ્ ચિત્રં ચૈત્ર રથં યથા અતિવૃત્તં અચિંત્યં દિવ્યં રમ્યં શ્રિયા વૃતં પુષ્પજ્યોતિર્ગણાયુતં દ્વિતીયં આકાશમ્ ઇવ પુષ્પરત્નશતૈઃ ચિત્રં , દ્વિતીયં સાગરં યથા સર્વઋતુપુષ્પૈઃ મધુગન્ધિભિઃ પાદપૈઃ , દ્વિજૈઃ મૃગ ગણૈઃ નાનાનિનાદૈઃ નિચિતં રમ્યં અનેકગન્ધપ્રવહં પુણ્યગંધંમનોરમમ્ અસ્તિ ||

With different types of gardens resembling Nandana forest of Indra, colorful like Chaitraratha gardens of Kubera, surpassing the divine, with radiance of countless varieties of blossoms it was lovely like a ( second) sky delightful surrounded with luminaries. With hundreds of flowers looking like gems, it is wonderful like a second Ocean. With flowers that bloom in all seasons, honey scented trees , with flocks of birds and animals, enchanting with various fragrances including divine fragrance, the grove was pleasing to the heart.

વિમલં પ્રાંશુભાવત્વા દુલ્લિખન્ત મિવામ્બરમ્|

સ|| સઃ વાનરપુંગવઃ તસ્યાં અશોકવનિકાયામ્ મધ્યે ગન્ધમાડ્યં ગન્ધમાદનમ્ ઇવ સ્તંભ સહસ્રેણ સ્થિતમ્ કૈલાસપાણ્ડુરમ્ પ્રવાળકૃતસોપાનમ્ તપ્તકાંચન વેદિકાં ચક્ષૂંસિ મુષ્ણન્તં ઇવ શ્રિયા દ્યોતમાનં ઇવ વિમલં પ્રાંશુભાવત્વાત્ અંબરં ઉલ્લિખંતમિવ અવિદૂરસ્થં ઉચ્છ્રિતમ્ ચૈત્ય પ્રાસાદમ્ દદર્શ||

Not far from there, the best among Vanaras sitting in the middle of the highly fragrant Ashoka grove saw a big tall temple looking like another mount Gandhamadana with a thousand pillars. White like mount Kailasa, having stairs paved with corals, having altars of bright molten gold, glowing with brilliance as if stealing the eyes, looking white due to its light , it was tall as if touching the sky.

શ્લો|| તતો મલિન સંવીતાં રાક્ષસીભિઃ સમાવૃતામ્||18||
ઉપવાસકૃશાં દીનાં નિશ્સ્વસન્તીં પુનઃ પુનઃ|
દદર્શ શુક્લપક્ષાદૌ ચન્દ્રરેખામિવામલામ્||19||

સ|| તતઃ મલિનસંવીતાં રાક્ષસીભિઃ સમાવૃતાં ઉપવાસકૃશાં દીનાં પુનઃ પુનઃ નિઃશ્વસંતીં શુક્લપાક્ષાદૌ અમલાં ચન્દ્રરેખામિવ ( અબલાં) તાં દદર્શ||

There he saw a woman wearing soiled clothes, surrounded by Rakshasa women, emaciated due to fasting, looking pitiable, sighing again and again, white and thin like the crescent moon at the beginning of a bright fortnight.

શ્લો|| મન્દં પ્રખ્યાયમાનેન રૂપેણ રુચિરપ્રભાં|
પિનદ્ધાં ધૂમજાલેન શિખામિવ વિભાવસોઃ||20||
પીતેનૈકેન સંવીતાં ક્લિષ્ટેનોત્તમવાસસા|
સપઙ્કાં અનલઙ્કારં વિપદ્મામિવ પદ્મિનીમ્ ||21||
વ્રીડિતાં દુઃખસંતપ્તાં પરિમ્લાનાં તપસ્વિનીમ્|
ગ્રહેણાઙ્ગારકેણેવ પીડિતામિવ રોહિણીમ્||22||

સ|| (સા) મન્દં પ્રખ્યાયમાનેન રૂપેણ ધૂમજલેન પિનદ્ધાં રુચિરપ્રભામ્ વિભાવસોઃ શિખામિવ(અસ્તિ) || વિનષ્ટેન પીતેન એકેન ઉત્તમવાસસા અનલઙ્કૃતાં સપઙ્કં વિપદ્માં પદ્મિનીં ઇવ |વ્રીડિતાં દુઃખસંતપ્તાં પરિમ્લાનાં તપસ્વિનીં અંગારકેણ ગ્રહેણા પીડિતાં રોહિણીં ઇવ ( ચ અસ્તિ) |

She was faintly recognizable in appearance with bright radiance looking like the tip of fire engulfed in smoke. With a worn out body ,wearing a single yellow cloth of superior quality, she was unadorned looking like a dusty lotus pond bereft of lotuses. She was bashful looking, tormented with agony, a woman of penance. She was looking like Rohini troubled by the planet Mars.

શ્લો|| અશ્રુપૂર્ણમુખીં દીનાં કૃશામનશનેન ચ|
શોકધ્યાનપરાં દીનાં નિત્યં દુઃખપરાયણામ્||23||
પ્રિયં જનમપશ્યંતીં પશ્યન્તીં રાક્ષસીગણમ્|
સ્વગણેન મૃગીં હીનાં શ્વગણાભિવૃતા મિવ||24||

સ|| દુઃખપરાયણામ્ અશ્રુપૂર્ણમુખીં દીનાં અનશનેન કૃશાં નિત્યં શોકધ્યાનપરાં તાં દદર્શ|| સા પ્રિયં જનં અપશ્યંતીં રાક્ષસીગણં પશ્યંતીં સ્વગણેન હીનાં શ્વગણાભિવૃતાં મૃગીં ઇવ (અસ્તિ)||

Overwhelmed with sorrow and eyes filled with tears, she was looking dejected and emaciated by fasting. Always meditating in sorrow, not seeing her dear people, seeing only the Rakshasa women , she was like a female deer surrounded by a group of hounds.

શ્લો|| નીલનાગાભયાવેણ્યા જઘનં ગત યૈકયા|
નીલયા નીરદાપાયે વનરાજ્યા મહીમિવ||25||
સુખાર્હં દુઃખસંતપ્તાં વ્યસનાનાં અકોવિદામ્|

સ|| સા જઘનં ગતયા નીલનાગાભયા વેણ્યા નીરદાપાયે નીલયા વનરાજ્યા મહીં ઇવ, દુઃખસંતપ્તાં સુખાર્હં વ્યસનાનાં અકોવિદાં (અસ્તિ) |

She appeared like a range of trees at the end of a rainy season with her single braid touching her hips. Consumed by grief, not experienced in vices, she was like one who deserved to be happy.

શ્લો|| તાં સમીક્ષ્ય વિશાલાક્ષીં અધિકં મલિનાં કૃશામ્ ||26||
તર્કયામાસ સીતેતિ કારણૈરુપપાદિભિઃ|
હ્રિયમાણા તદા તેન રક્ષસા કામરૂપિણા||27||
યથારૂપાહિ દૃષ્ટા વૈ તથા રૂપેય મઙ્ગના|

સ|| વિશાલાક્ષીં અધિકં મલિનાં કૃશાં તાં સમીક્ષ્ય સીતા ઇતિ તર્કયામાસ|| ઇયં અંગના તથારૂપા તદા કામરૂપિણા તેન રક્ષસા હ્રિયમાણા યથારૂપા દૃષ્ટા ઇતિ||

Seeing that thin wide eyed and very much emaciated lady, (Hanuman) started wondering if she is Sita. 'This lady is of the same form as the one taken away using force by that Rakshasa who can take any form'.

શ્લો|| પૂર્ણ ચન્દ્રાનનાં સુભૄં ચારુવૃત્તપયોધરામ્||28||
કુર્વન્તીં પ્રભયા દેવીં સર્વા વિતિમિરા દિશઃ|
તાં નીલકેશીં બિમ્બોષ્ટીં સુમધ્યામ્ સુપ્રતિષ્ટિતામ્||29||
સીતાં પદ્મપલાશાક્ષીં મન્મથસ્ય રતિં યથા|

સ|| પૂર્ણ ચંદ્રાનનાં સુભૄં ચારુવૃત્ત પયોધરાં સર્વાઃ દિશાં પ્રભયા વિતિમિરાઃ કુર્વતીં દેવીં નીલકેશીં બિંબોષ્ટીં સુમધ્યાં સુપ્રતિષ્ઠિતાં પદ્મપલાશાક્ષીં મન્મથસ્ય રતીં યથા સીતાં (દદર્શ) ||

With face like that of a full Moon, with shapely eye brows, beautiful breasts, rendering bright in all directions with her radiance. She was like the queen with black hair, red lips like Bimba fruit, eyes like lotus petals and pleasing limbs. She was like Rati of Manmatha.

શ્લો|| ઇષ્ટાં સર્વસ્ય જગતઃ પૂર્ણચન્દ્ર પ્રભામિવ ||30||
ભૂમૌ સુતનુમાસીનાં નિયતામિવ તાપસીં |
નિશ્સ્વાસબહુળાં ભીરું ભુજગેન્દ્ર વધૂમિવ ||31||
શોકજાલેન મહતા વિતતેન ન રાજતીમ્|

સ|| સા પૂર્ણચન્દ્ર પ્રભાં ઇવ સર્વસ્ય જગતઃ ઇષ્ટાં નિયતાં તાપસીં ઇવ ભૂમૌ આસીનામ્ સુતનું (અસ્તિ) || સા ભીરું ભુજગેન્દ્રવધૂમ્ ઇવ નિઃશ્વાસબહુળાં મહતા વિતનેન શોખજાલેન ન રાજતીં (અસ્તિ) ||

She was bright like the radiance of full moon favorite of the whole world. She was austere like an ascetic sitting on the ground with lovely figure. Timid. Continuously sighing like the hissing of the consort of the serpent Lord, she was looking gloomy caught in web of a great grief.

શ્લો|| સંસક્તાં ધૂમજાલેન શિખામિવ વિભાવસોઃ||32||
તાં સ્મૃતીમિવ સન્દિગ્ધામ્ વૃદ્ધિં નિપતિતામિવ|
વિહતા મિવ ચ શ્રદ્ધાં આશાં પ્રતિહતામિવ||33||
સોપસર્ગાં યથાસિદ્ધિં બુદ્ધિં સ કલુષામિવ|
અભૂતેનાપવાદેન કીર્તિં નિપતિતામિવ ||34||
રામોપરોધવ્યધિતાં રક્ષોહરણ કર્શિતામ્|

સ||ધૂમ્રજાલેન સંસક્તાં વિભાવસૌ શિખામિવ સંદિગ્ધામ્ સ્મૃતીં ઇવ નિપતિતં ઋદ્ધમિવ તામ્ ( દદર્શ)|| વિહતામિવ શ્રદ્ધાં ચ આશાં પ્રતિહતાં ઇવ સોપસર્ગાં સિદ્ધિમ્ ઇવ સકલુષાં બુદ્ધિમિવ ||અભૂતેન અપવાદેન નિપતિતાં કીર્તિમિવ રામોપરોધવ્યધિતાં રક્ષોહરણ કર્શિતાં (તામ્ દદર્શ)||
She was like a flame of fire obscured by a cloud of smoke, like a text of Smriti of doubtful meaning, like a thrown away treasure. She was like lost faith, a hope obstructed, success inhibited , vitiated intellect. She was like a fame soiled by false allegation, troubled by not being able to meet Rama, emaciated on account being kidnapped by the Rakshasa.

શ્લો|| અબલાં મૃગશાબાક્ષીં વીક્ષમાણાં તત સ્તતઃ||35||
ભાષ્પામ્બુપરિપૂર્ણેન કૃષ્ણવક્રાક્ષિપક્ષ્મણા|
વદનેનાપ્રસન્નેન નિશ્સ્વસન્તીં પુનઃ પુનઃ||36||
મલપઙ્કધરાં દીનાં મણ્ડનાર્હાં અમણ્ડિતામ્|
પ્રભાં નક્ષત્રરાજસ્ય કાલમેઘૈરિવાવૃતામ્||37||

સ|| મૃગશાબાક્ષીં ભાષ્પામ્બુપરિપૂર્ણેન કૃષ્ણવક્રાક્ષિ પક્ષ્મણા અપ્રસન્નેન વદનેન તતઃ તતઃ વીક્ષમાણં પુનઃ પુનઃ નિશ્સ્વસન્તીં અબલાં || મલપઙ્કધરાં દીનાં મણ્ડનાર્હાં અમણ્ડિતામ્ કાલમેઘૈઃ આવૃતાં નક્ષત્રરાજસ્ય પ્રભાં ઇવ||

Fawn eyed, with an unhappy face, with eyes full of tears with black curved eyelashes sighing again and again she was ( anxiously) looking here and there. She was covered with dust , dejected, not adorned though deserved to be adorned, like the moon surrounded by black clouds.

શ્લો|| તસ્ય સંદિદિહે બુદ્ધિઃ મુહુઃ સીતાં નિરીક્ષ્યતુ|
આમ્નાયાનાં અયોગેન વિદ્યાં પ્રશિથિલામિવ||38||
દુઃખેન બુબુધે સીતાં હનુમાનનલઙ્કૃતામ્|
સંસ્કારેણ યથા હીનાં વાચં અર્થાંતરં ગતમ્||39||

સ|| આમ્નાયાનાં અયોગેન પ્રશિથિલાં વિદ્યાં ઇવ સીતાં નિરીક્ષ્ય તસ્ય બુદ્ધિઃ તુ મુહુઃ સંદિદિહે|| હનુમાન્ અનલંકૃતેન સંસ્કારેણ હીનં અર્થાંતરં ગતં વાચં યથા સીતાં દુઃખેન બુબુધે||

She was like the Vedic knowledge that faded for want of recitation. Looking at her Hanuman's mind also wavered. Hanuman had difficulty in recognizing Sita devoid of decoration like a word that lost its meaning for want of usage.

શ્લો|| તાં સમીક્ષ્ય વિશાલાક્ષીં રાજપુત્રીં અનિંદિતામ્|
તર્કયામાસ સીતેતિ કારણૈરુપપાદિભિઃ||40||
વૈદેહ્યા યાનિ ચાઙ્ગેષુ તદા રામોઽન્વકીર્તયત્|
તાન્ આભરણજાલાનિ ગાત્રશોભીન્યલક્ષયત્||41||
સુકૃતૌ કર્ણવેષ્ટૌ ચ શ્વદંષ્ટ્રૌ ચ સુસંસ્થિતૌ|
મણિવિદ્રુમ ચિત્રાણિ હસ્તેષ્વાભરણાનિ ચ ||42||
શ્યામાનિ ચિરયુક્તત્વાત્ તથા સંસ્થાનવંતિ ચ|

સ|| અનિંદિતાં રાજપુત્રીં વિશાલાક્ષીં સમીક્ષ્ય તાં સીતા ઇતિ કારણૈઃ ઉપપાદિભિઃ તર્કયામાસ||તદા રામઃ યાનિ આભરણજાલાનિ વૈદેહ્યાઃ અંગેષુ અન્વકીર્તયત્ ગાત્રશોભિનિ તાનિ અલક્ષયત્ | સુકૃતૌ કર્ણવેષ્ટૌ સુસંસ્થિતૌ શ્વંદષ્ટ્રૌ ચ હસ્તેષુ મણિવિદ્રુમ ચિત્રાણિ આભરણાનિ ચ ચિરયુક્તત્વાત્ શ્યામાનિ સંસ્થાનવંતિ ચ ||

Seeing that blameless princess of wide eyes, by right signs and reasons Hanuman came to the conclusion that she is indeed Sita. Hanuman observed ornaments worn by Vaidehi adding grace to her limbs which Rama had described. He also observed well-crafted ear ornaments, properly fitting Svadamshtras and on hands wonderfully variegated corals and gems. The ornaments blackened due to constant use have left marks on her body.

શ્લો|| તાન્યે વૈતાનિ મન્યેઽહં યાનિ રામોઽન્વકીર્તયત્||43||
તત્રયા ન્યવહીનાનિ તાન્યહં નોપલક્ષયે |
યાન્યસ્યા નાવહીનાનિ તાન્ ઇમાનિ નસંશયઃ||44||
પીતં કનકપટ્ટાભં સ્રસ્તં તદ્વસનં શુભમ્|
ઉત્તરીયં નગાસક્તં તદા દ્રષ્ટું પ્લવઙ્ગમૈઃ||45||
ભૂષણાનિ ચ મુખ્યાનિ દૃષ્ટાનિ ધરણી તલે|
અનયૈવાપવિદ્દાનિ સ્વનવન્તિ મહન્તિ ચ||46||

સ||તાનિ રામઃ યાનિ અન્વકીર્તયત્ તાન્યેવ અહં મન્યે| તત્ર યાનિ અવહીનાનિ તાનિ અહં નોપલક્ષ્યે | અસ્યાઃ યાનિ નાવહીનાનિ તાનિ ઇમાનિ સંશયઃ ન|| પીતં કનકપટ્ટાભં શુભં ઉત્તરીયં સ્રક્તં નાગસક્તં તત્ વસ્ત્રં તદા પ્લવઙ્ગમૈઃ દ્રષ્ટં|| નયૈવ ધરણી તલે અપવિદ્ધાનિ સ્વનવન્તી મહન્તિ મુખ્યાનિ ભૂષણાનિ ચ દ્રષ્ટાનિ||

"Those ornaments that Rama has described are the same ones I think. The ornaments that were dropped are not on her. The ones that are not dropped are these I have no doubt . That auspicious yellow upper cloth shining like gold, stuck to the trees is the one seen by the Vanaras. Those excellent choice ornaments that make jingling noises, which were thrown down on the ground by her were seen too".

શ્લો|| ઇદં ચિરગૃહીતત્વાત્ વ્યસનં ક્લિષ્ટવત્તરમ્|
તથાઽપિ નૂનં તદ્વર્ણં તથા શ્રીમત્ યથેતરત્||47||
ઇયં કનકવર્ણાઙ્ગી રામસ્ય મહિષી પ્રિયા |
પ્રણષ્ટાઽપિ સતી યાઽસ્ય મનસો ન પ્રણસ્યતિ||48||

સ|| ઇદં વસનં ચિરગૃહીતત્વાત્ ક્લિષ્ટવત્તરમ્ તથાપિ નૂનં તદ્વર્ણં ઇતરત્ યથા તથા શ્રીમત્|| ઇયં કનકવર્ણાઙ્ગી રામસ્ય પ્રિયા મહિષી સતી યા પ્રણષ્ટાપિ અસ્ય મનસઃ નપ્રણસ્યતિ ||

"This cloth worn long, thus is looking crumpled. Even so its color is shining like another fresh cloth. This lady of golden complexion, Rama's beloved queen even though lost ( being carried away) does not disappear from his mind".

શ્લો|| ઇયં સા યત્કૃતે રામશ્ચતુર્ભિઃ પરિતપ્યતે|
કારુણ્યે નાનૃશંસ્યેન શોકેન મદનેન ચ||49||
સ્ત્રી પ્રણષ્ટેતિ કારુણ્યાત્ આશ્રિતેત્યાનૃશંસ્યતઃ|
પત્ની નષ્ટેતિ શોકેન પ્રિયેતિ મદનેન ચ||50||

સ|| યત્ કૃતે રામઃ પ્રણષ્ટા સ્ત્રી ઇતિ કારુણ્યાત્ આશ્રિતેતિ અનૃશંસ્યતઃ નષ્ટા પત્ની ઇતિ શોકેન પ્રિયા ઇતિ મદનેન કારુણ્યેન આનૃશંસ્યેન શોકેન મદનેન ચતુર્ભિઃ પરિતપ્યતે સા ઇયં||

"For her sake Rama is lost with compassion because she is woman, because of gentleness for one who took refuge, sorrow because she is his wife, passion because she is his love".

શ્લો|| અસ્યા દેવ્યા યથા રૂપં અઙ્ગપ્રત્યઙ્ગ સૌષ્ટવમ્|
રામસ્ય ચ યથારૂપં તસ્યેય મસિતેક્ષણા||51||
અસ્યા દેવ્યા મનસ્તસ્મિન્ તસ્ય ચાસ્યાં પ્રતિષ્ટિતમ્|
તેનેયં સ ચ ધર્માત્મા મુહૂર્તમપિ જીવતિ||52||

સ|| અસ્યાઃ દેવ્યાઃ રૂપં અઙ્ગપ્રત્યઙ્ગસૌષ્ટવં યથા ચ તસ્ય રૂપં યથા ઇયં અસિતેક્ષણા|| અસ્યાઃ દેવ્યાઃ મનઃ તસ્મિન્ તસ્ય અસ્યાં પ્રતિષ્ટિતં| તેન ઇયં ધર્માત્મા સ ચ મુહૂર્તમપિ જીવતિ||

"The black eyed Sita and her divine charming body with perfect limbs are a match for Rama's form too. Her divine mind is fixed on Rama . His mind is fixed on her. For this reason she and righteous Rama are able to survive till this moment".

શ્લો|| દુષ્કરં કૃતવાન્ રામો હીનોયદનયા પ્રભુઃ|
ધારય ત્યાત્મનો દેહં ન શોકે નાવસીદતિ||53||
દુષ્કરંકુરુતે રામો ય ઇમાં મત્તકાસિનીમ્|
સીતાં વિના મહાબાહુઃ મુહૂર્તમપિ જીવતિ||54||

સ|| પ્રભુઃ રામઃ અનયા હીનઃ આત્મનઃ દેહં ધારયતિ ઇતિ યત્ શોકેન ન અવસીદતિ દુષ્કરં કૃતવાન્ || યઃ ઇમામ્ સીતાં મત્તકાશિનીંવિના મુહૂર્તમપિ જીવતિ મહાબાહુઃ રામઃ દુષ્કરં કુરુતે||

"Lord Ram has accomplished a difficult task in sustaining himself, without allowing himself to sink and perish during separation from her. That without Sita, a lady of intoxicating luster , he is able to live even for a moment is indeed a difficult task accomplished by strong armed Rama".

શ્લો|| એવં સીતાં તદા દૃષ્ટ્વા હૃષ્ટઃ પવન સંભવઃ|
જગામ મનસા રામં પ્રશશંસ ચ તં પ્રભુમ્||55||

સ|| પવનસંભવઃ તદા સીતાં દૃષ્ટ્વા એવં હૃષ્ટઃ મનસા રામં જગાં તાં પ્રભું પ્રશશંસ ચ||

The son of wind god seeing Sita , delighted , reached Rama in his mind thus and praised him.

ઇત્યાર્ષે શ્રીમદ્રામાયણે આદિકાવ્યે વાલ્મીકીયે
ચતુર્વિંશત્સહસ્રિકાયાં સંહિતાયામ્
શ્રીમત્સુંદરકાંડે પંચદશસ્સર્ગઃ||

Thus ends the fifteenth Sarga of Sundarakanda in Ramayan the first ever poem in Sanskrit written by venerable Valmiki.
